Labour briefing outlines planned delivery-worker injury protection

In his 30 September briefing, Chris Sun said the government aimed to submit legislative proposals by year-end for statutory injury compensation for food and goods delivery platform workers. A skills-based training framework was planned for early 2027. These were announced plans, not confirmation that a new compensation law was already in force.
