What are my basic rights as a helper?

A weekly rest day, 15 statutory holidays per year (2026 onwards), paid annual leave that scales with length of service, sickness allowance, free food + accommodation (or food allowance of at least HKD 1,236 per month), the Minimum Allowable Wage of HKD 5,100 per month (from 30 Sep 2025), a free return passage on contract end, the right to keep your own passport, and the right to terminate the contract for cause without penalty.
